A new neighbour recently asked a great question: "On the scale between Witchcraft and Physical Therapy, where is Body Reading?" I loved that question so much that I immediately burst into delighted laughter.
In case you're also wondering, while I've never done any witchcraft or even Reiki, I did learn a lot from a couple years of working in Physical Therapy. But Reading the Body is it's own thing and it's a lot more like it sounds than you'd guess. I scan your body, which is like scanning and reading a book to me, and I ask what is connected to the issue that you present. I blend some techniques that I've learned from others along with how my body naturally works to read others (picking up on subtle and not so subtle cues or distortions) and always combining that with the latest scientific research or studies that I've read or learned about.
Body Reading is a way to hear from the body more directly in order to better utilize our full immune system and healing potential. Sometimes emotions and thoughts are trapped in there, and other times, organs or glands are struggling, or past incidents or accidents need to be cleared out. The body is incredibly intelligent, but sometimes benefits from updating old information. A body scan and reading helps find and remove some of the blockages in the body that are stopping the body from the higher level of health that you are so capable of.
